James Collins

James began work at Lansdowne studios, London, in 1989. He later moved to CTS studios, Wembley in 1993 as a house engineer where an array of differing musical projects from pop and rock 'n roll to orchestral, TV & film, jazz, and voice-over work honing his skills as a diverse and adaptable recording and mix engineer earning him a Golden Reel Award. With over 25 years experience in the music industry, James has recorded, mixed and produced some of the worlds best known artists such as Amy Grant, Cliff Richard and The Shadows, Kelly Clarkson, Rick Wakeman and Suede and film scores including Shall We Dance (starring Richard Gere and Jennifer Lopez), The Magic Roundabout (starring Robbie Williams and Kylie Minogue), Little Voice (starring Jane Horrocks) and the award-winning The History Boys. Having worked with such diverse artists over the years, he now combines his experience and has taken to writing.
