Clive studied composition and guitar at Trinity College London. Soon after graduation he played at a gig with John Renbourn and, after recording his first album 'Sixth Sense', Clive spent the next two years on tour with John in Europe and the United States. His next solo album, 'The Red Guitar' appeared in 2004 and this time it was Tommy Emmanuel who invited Clive to tour with him. In 2005 he again worked with John Renbourn on the film 'Driving Lessons' starring Julie Waters and Rupert Grint. He tutors at the Irish World Music Centre in Limerick, has played at events organised by film director Guy Ritchie and Michelin award-winning chef Jean-Christophe Novelli and at the Strings Of Freedom concert for the Sultanate of Oman.
