DJ Applebad is a pseudonym for Rolo McGinty, known internationally for his work as singer/writer for the Woodentops. He has had hits in various guises as an artist, and as a producer and remixer for artists such as Boy George and Farley Jackmaster Funk. His film and TV work includes Channel 4's "Pandora's Box" and the theme for "Swank". Music for "Silent Tongues", a film of a spiritual journey by artist Panni Bharti preceded a long stint as a house writer for Boosey Media, No Boyfriend Music, Mentorn TV, and advertising soundtracks for Sky Digital.
Jonathan is an established composer of contemporary music for TV and Production Music Libraries Worldwide. TV broadcasts to date include BBC1, BBC2, ITV1, C4, C5, National Geographic Channel, UK Food, Quiz TV, Sky Travel, GMTV, Discovery UK, Discovery Europe, Discovery USA and many more.
He has over 250 Production Music tracks currently in circulation, with credits including Film 2008 with Jonathan Ross, Gardeners' World and the film "Dark Matter" starring Meryl Streep and Aiden Quinn.George is a singer, composer and multi instrumentalist (bass, guitar, piano, trumpet and Chapman stick). He is songwriter, bass player and vocalist in Jonas 3 and Storm Engine. Other gigs have included Matt Berry ("The Mighty Boosh", "IT Crowd") and Dani Wilde supporting Gary Moore. Simon is a graduate of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and a former member of the London Philharmonic Orchestra and rock band "Gentle Touch" (chart success with "Dream of You"), leaving both in the early 90's to pursue a career as a composer and freelance Double Bass player. He has composed especially for innumerable TV and radio productions and commercials, and with over 600 production music tracks, Simon's music has been featured in thousands of well known productions worldwide.
As a performer he has played live and in the studio with a vast array of artists, ranging from Pavarotti to Streisand, Paul McCartney to Robbie Williams, as well as on countless TV and international movie soundtracks.
Jane began her career singing with the London Orpheus Choir. She attained a postgraduate diploma from the prestigious jazz course at the Guildhall School of Music, and a masters degree in orchestration for film and TV at the London College of Music and Media. She has written and performed her own music with musicians such as pianist Liam Noble and saxophonist Martin Hathaway.
Initially signed to Bucks Music/Standard Music, she released various CDs of pop songs and library music. She has composed an orchestral piece for the BBC Concert Orchestra. Most recently Jane has worked with producer Pascal Gabriel (Dido, Kylie, Ladyhawke) and written string arrangements for various artists including Sophie Ellis Bextor

Russell is a performance artist living and performing in England and Germany. For several years he ran the monthly "All Over The Shop" gigs at The Foundry in Shoreditch. His occasional UK gigs are eagerly attended by those in the know. Some of the compositions on MUM are 'live' performances. He is currently exploring new areas in sound art with visual artists and animators.
The highly acclaimed British jazz pianist first came to prominence in 1960 playing opposite Miles Davis on his nationwide UK Tour. Brian was voted Melody Maker's "New Star Of The Year" for 1960. Brian has played with many of the great names in jazz, including Ben Webster, Zoot Sims, Al Cohn, Benny Carter, Harry Sweets Edison, Eddie Lockjaw Davis, Chet Baker and Sonny Stitt.

The guitarist's guitarist, Steve Donnelly is one of the great stylists of today on his instrument. Known for his eclectic styles on acoustic and electric, he has brought magic to recordings of many artists such as Sheryl Crow, Suzanne Vega, Elvis Costello, Mick Jagger, Tasmin Archer, Mitchell Froom, Nick Lowe, Katie Melua and Bonnie Raitt. He is also featured on Randy Newman's highly acclaimed latest album "Harps & Angels".
Simon Eyre has been a professional guitarist for over 20 years. He has written and co-written for numerous pop acts including Jennifer Ellison, D Side, Blazing Squad, Damage, The Honeys, Nick Lachey and a top five hit for Friday Hill. He has composed graded exam pieces for the Rockschool course and played guitar on albums by The Style Council, Lighthouse Family and Robert Palmer. As a live guitarist, Simon has toured the world with many acts including Paul Weller, Elaine Paige, Womack and Womack, Matt Bianco and Jimmy Ruffin.
Andy is Europe's most recorded flautist, having appeared on countless albums, film and TV scores. He has been involved in just about every genre of performance from serious orchestral work to rock bands and the world of London's West End theatre. As well as his enviable reputation as a master performer on the flute, he has been Michael Nyman's baritone saxophonist since 1980, and has transcribed and recorded Michael's "Yamamoto Perpetuo", a 37 minute solo flute work. Andy is a "Pearl Flutes International Artist" as well as being the proud owner of Geoffrey Gilbert's 1950 platinum flute.
Graeme currently tours with Kylie Minogue, Kyle Eastwood, and Thomas Helmig. He has written music for three Clint Eastwood movie soundtracks, and played at all the major jazz festivals and jazz clubs in America, Europe, Japan, Indonesia and South Africa. Graeme recently played with the Tom Scott Quintet at Ronnie Scott's, and has recorded with Joey Negro, The Sunburst Band, Moloko, Simply Red, Take That, Brenda Russell, Katie Melua and The Feeling. Trained as an actor at LAMDA in London, Sally has written and produced several stage shows and musicals. She has performed as Sally Bowles in the hit musical Cabaret. She has also written lyrics for songs including the themes to Yorkshire Television's "Rich Tea And Sympathy" and "A Bit Of A Do" which was performed by George Melly.
Composer David C. Hëwitt studied in London and America earning a BA Hons in Music & Theology. He began playing the piano at six years old and it was from this young age that he became profoundly influenced by the composer Alberto Ginastera and the arranger Isao Tomita. He has written scores for TV, documentaries, albums and videos, and the theatre.
No I.D. is a young up and coming DJ and drummer. He has played with several of the bands, and at many of the clubs, on the Brighton music scene. He creates his own take on current dance music and is becoming one of our most prolific composers.
Greg studied drums and percussion formally at the RNCM with Gilbert Webster. He then worked with Peter Maxwell Davies, the Ronnie Scott organization, and had his own recording deal with Chrysalis Records and Simon Cowell. He has also played with Nigel Kennedy, Madonna, Freddy Mercury, and on the soundtracks for "Lord of the Rings", "The Golden Compass", and "Ravenous" with Damon Albarn. Greg has been writing library music for 20 years for KPM, Music House, Cavendish and now Made Up Music.
Paolo Maddaloni is a busy jazz and studio guitar player and composer. He has worked with many of the world's leading jazz musicians, and has appeared on over 200 movie soundtracks, including "Lord of the Rings", "Shakespeare in Love" and "The Constant Gardener". He has also played on albums for KT Tunstall, Annie Lennox and Westlife. He is also a prolific composer of jazz and of music for media.
Albert is an old friend and colleague of Brian Dee. Their playing styles are very similar and they have collaborated on many projects over the years. Interestingly they have never performed together live.
Pianist/Composer Andrew McCormack started his career playing on Denys Baptiste's debut album "Be Where You Are", which won Album of the Year in the 1999 Mercury Music Prize and the MOBO (Music of Black Origin) Award for Best Jazz Act 1999. In 2002 Andrew was a semi-finalist in the prestigious Martial Solal International Piano Competition held in Paris. Andrew has performed with many distinguished jazz musicians, including Randy Brecker, Courtney Pine, Juliet Roberts, and Jean Toussaint. Recent composition work has taken him to LA to work with Clint Eastwood on his two latest award-winning movies "Flags Of Our Fathers" and "Letters From Iwo Jima".
Andy studied cello and double bass at the Royal Academy of Music in London, and went on to chart success with the song "Einstein a go-go" as a founder member of the group Landscape. Feature film work includes: Nine, The Mummy 3, Twilight, The Guru, Calender Girls, Gosford Park, Little Shop of Horrors and The Full Monty. Album credits include: Freddie Mercury, Sharleen Spiteri, Madonna, The Pet Shop Boys, Shirley Bassey, Gloria Gaynor, Cliff Richard, Tom Jones, Steve Marriot, Ronan Keating, Nana Mouskouri, Debbie Harry, Michael Ball, Elaine Paige, and many albums as a rhythm section member for the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. Andy has toured extensively with many of the above artists. Resident theatre work includes, Tonight's the Night, Far Pavilions, Evita and Joseph and his Amazing Technicoloured Dream Coat. Andy has written many works, including the theme to the long running police series, 'The Bill'.
Steve Pearce has been a professional musician for over thirty years. He has played every conceivable type of music with hundreds of different artists including Stevie Wonder, Van Morrison, Herbie Hancock, George Michael, Elton John, Madonna and Sting. He toured the world with Tom Jones as musical director between 1994-1998 and has toured with many others including Van Morrison and Everything But The Girl. He has over 100 titles registered with PRS and has produced numerous records often alongside drummer/producer Ralph Salmins.

Ralph is the drummer of choice for producers and composers worldwide. He has recorded with George Martin, Madonna, Mike Oldfield, Burt Bacharach and Paul McCartney, and his swinging feel can be heard on Bjork's hit "It's Oh So Quiet" and Robbie Williams' "Swing When You're Winning" album & DVD. He toured worldwide in Van Morrison's band from 1995-1999, recording three albums with him. Regular movie employers are Danny Elfman, Hans Zimmer and John Williams and he's worked on over 100 movies, including "Harry Potter: The Prisoner of Azkaban", "Goldeneye", "Charlie and The Chocolate Factory", "Moulin Rouge" and "Lord Of The Rings: Return Of The King".

Sound Design specialist Luke first began composing during his degree in Music Production at Brighton University, where he graduated with first class Honours in 2005. His primary focus throughout the degree was on sound design and production music, and over the 3 years he produced a collection of predominantly instrumental music. Luke's first published work coincided with the completion of the BA Degree, and he began to focus entirely on developing an acoustic catalogue. As a double bassist and guitarist he also performs and works with many producers and artists based in and around London.
Monster guitarist and prolific composer Jay has worked with Roger Waters (post Pink Floyd), Mike Oldfield, Suede, Scott Walker, Slim Whitman, Kirsty MacColl, David Allan Coe, Toyah, Michael Kamen and Westernhagen. Fans of "Withnail and I" will also be familiar with Jay's playing. He played guitar on the soundtrack of this classic movie.
Andy is the guitarist in Jonas 3 and Intraverse. Graduating with a B.A.(hons) from BIMM at 19, he is one of the most exciting and technically proficient players of the new bands around today. He has composed for Cavendish and Post Production Music.
Hector Villaraus is a drummer, composer and producer. He has collaborated with numerous artists, both in the studio and live, for the last 15 years in Mexico, France, Netherlands and the UK. His determination and passion for music made him relocate to the UK where he gained a BMus in Popular Music Performance. Hector is the co-founder of Libelula, an up and coming electro pop duo, and has been drummer and songwriter for bands such as Redstar, Manyas, Afrolicious and Aura. He has collaborated with classical composers Pablo Garcia and Felipe Perez-Santiago, and worked as a session musician for artists like Stephanie Salas, Zü, and Hed Kandi. He has also written original soundtracks for the short films, Queridos Reyes Magos and Mundo Dormido.
Rik began his career at the legendary Olympic Studios in London, and has been a producer and engineer for over 30 years. During his time running The Workhouse Studio he worked with Ian Dury, Paul Young, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Manfred Mann's Earthband, and many Stiff Records acts, including Jona Lewie, The Damned and Kirsty MacColl. He worked for Midge Ure for ten years, engineering for Ultravox, solo albums, Phil Lynott, The Prince's Trust and Band Aid. Production credits include Ian Dury, Gang Of Four, Midge Ure, Ray Russell, Gil Evans with RMS, and Jonas 3.

Since graduating from the Guildhall School of Music And Drama, Chris has recorded and performed with Paul McCartney, Luciano Pavarotti, Carla Bley & Steve Swallow, Robert Plant, Andy Sheppard, Bryn Terffyl, Randy Brecker, Karl Jenkins, London Sinfonietta, London Philharmonic Orchestra, London Symphony Orchestra, as well as on numerous film soundtracks, television and radio broadcasts. Specialising in Brazilian music, Chris's debut solo album "Pra Sempre" featured Ivan Lins, Coro do Batacotô, Mestres da Bateria da Mangueira, Téo Lima, Sizão Machado. His new quartet, AZUL, includes Walmir Gil, Webster Santos, and Charlie Wood. Chris recently composed and performed a new Worldwide advertising campaign for Grendene. He has also formed MOOPHONIX RECORDS.
Tim's first public performance was as solo clarinetist in his school orchestra, conducted by his school friend, the now knighted, Sir Simon Rattle. He has since played with Ian Carr's Nucleus, Graham Collier, Loose Tubes, Giovanni Mirabassi, Phil DeGreg. He has recorded the albums English People, Decision, and Silence Between Waves with his own bands, featuring John Parricelli, Django Bates, Nic France, Pete Jacobsen, Dave Barry, and Arnie Somogyi. His awards include Young Jazz Musician of the Year, The Andrew Milne Award for Jazz, and Jazz Album of the Year. He also won the Peter Whittingham Award with Colin Riley to record Tides with the Homemade Orchestra, who have toured extensively and released a second album, Inside Covers.
Jeff Woodall has been writing music for over fifteen years, and in that time has written and produced ten albums. He has collaborated with other musicians including Jonathan Atkinson, an established UK composer, and Abhijit Pohankar, a critically acclaimed international Indian artist.
Jeff specializes in New Age, chill out and ambient music, and over the last two years has progressed to writing TV production music with great success.
